HiPP organic quality

Organic quality means the agricultural production of food without the use of chemicals.

That means: no chemical pesticides (pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides) and synthetic fertilizers. The basis for this is Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007.

Pest control takes place naturally (e.g. nesting sites for birds, herbal extracts against fungal attack). Fertilizers are of organic origin and fertilization occurs naturally by changing the crop rotation.

Organic farming makes a significant contribution to maintaining healthy soil, clean groundwater, biodiversity and an intact cultural landscape.

As a continuation of the environmental concept, we have subjected our plant to the EC environmental audit system. Claus Hipp has received numerous awards and environmental prizes from renowned institutions in Germany and abroad for his company's exemplary environmental management.
